Will of your heart

I clicked this photo of a flower in my balcony garden. While we whine and complain about the difficulties of life, this flower was an inspiration in fighting the odds. Rising from a dirty mud-filled pot to become such a beautiful bloom is a story worth being told

Flower
Mighty did I feel looking down from the perch
Until an unseen threat left me in the lurch;
Scared and scarred, of the impending doom
Down on my knees,  sulking in the gloom;
Humbled as I was, pushed to the dust
As the eyes locked on earthy roots covered in dirt;
Out came a stem bowed and bent
Weight of its bloom seemingly adding to its torment;
Pretty in pink, displaying strength in fragility
A lesson so powerful, about thriving in adversity;
It matters not, how often you fall or how bad you start
All that counts is how tall you rise with the will of your heart;

  1. Beautiful poem.

    Mother nature is the biggest teacher of them all.

    Inspiration comes to everyone, who can see it in plants, people, animals and nature.

    It teaches us to react - with beauty, with positivity and with purpose.

    It teaches us to make a difference to anyone, even one of them.

    Finally , we come from earth and go back there. What is this foolishness to be the master?

    Ashes to ashes and dust to dust, be humble like mother earth and learn to adapt, adopt and admire beauty.

    The pink flower is one such lesson from the master teacher.

    Salutations !
