(Wrote this based on the drama surrounding the arrest of His Holiness Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal, years ago ) He was accused of being apartner in crime Wonder , wh at people won't do for a few dime Some say that he was responsible for getting into the mess Wonder, if they were right about His Holiness Sometimes we listen to things that we don’t like to hear Wonder, if we respected a sinner or seer The truth remains somewhere in the once Holy Mutt Wonder, if the seer would ever come out of the rut The Pontiff may prove that the accusation is just lame Wonder, if his reputation will remain the same He might have had too many criminals in his circle Wonder, if that mistake caused him the tickle Everyone is equal b efore the law, , said the court Wonder, why then are all the corrupt politicians out Wondered if it was a mistake to arrest ’ Jayendra ‘ Wondered, if it held a prelude to ‘end Jaya era ‘

We are part of a big complex game Where the rules keep changing and are never the same A game so old that the God created The rules so complex that no one is defeated Yet we believe to be better than the best  Looking to rule while being only a guest We divide each other with colour and race And fight so hard till we lose our face Do we need to know the how and why of this game Or is it enough to play the part that’s given to our name Sometimes I wonder why this game is being played Can we change the rules that are laid? In the Game of Life we might be a mere toy The realization of which might not bring us great joy Yet we don’t have the right to judge our role or ask how ‘coz small or big, good or bad, we are an integral part of the big show The show goes on and stops never If its not you, then there is always someone to carry it forever And we’ll be well served to remember the fact That we are not the actors but just the act… In the complex but beautiful drama that we call, Life
