Old Songs to a New world

But, since We Are The World, We Are the Children, (Michael Jackson) let us try and Heal The World (Michael Jackson) rather than trying to Slip And Slide Away (Laura Allen). So Let Us Start My Friend Let Us Start to make this world a Better Place For You And Me And The Entire Human Race (Michael Jackson)in our Living Years (Mike and the mechanics)  Let us make this world a Paradise and Live Another Day (Phil Collins) instead of shedding Tears In Heaven (Eric Clapton). We might face some minor Hazard (Richard Marx) and might have to make a few Sacrifice (Elton John) in the process, but with a little Faith (George Michael) we make this Enigma (Enigma)of life free of Sadness.(Enigma) We might be Just Another Brick On The Wall (Pink Floyd) but the world needs these bricks to build itself. After all, we cannot hope for a Return To Innocence, (Enigma part 2) we can only hope for a better future.

I clicked this photo of a flower in my balcony garden. While we whine and complain about the difficulties of life, this flower was an inspiration in fighting the odds. Rising from a dirty mud-filled pot to become such a beautiful bloom is a story worth being told Mighty did I feel looking down from the perch Until an unseen threat left me in the lurch; Scared and scarred, of the impending doom Down on my knees,  sulking in the gloom; Humbled as I was, pushed to the dust As the eyes locked on earthy roots covered in dirt; Out came a stem bowed and bent Weight of its bloom seemingly adding to its torment; Pretty in pink, displaying strength in fragility A lesson so powerful, about thriving in adversity; It matters not, how often you fall or how bad you start All that counts is how tall you rise with the will of your heart ;
